1. Lesson Plans - Skyward - will have a training after Thanksgiving break for how to upload lesson plans
2. Teacher Resources - K and 1 sight word books, 2nd-5th grade Document Based Questions resource books - Charlotte is working to inventory them and they will be available for check out through the TRL resource library
3. SAEC Grant - remember to tie the grant to our PGE goal (90% of students will meet grade level requirements by the end of the year), turn in to Julie by November 30
4. Nooks - 6 Nooks were given to us from district Title I - they are for at school use only in grades 3-5 - looking for ideas about how to best use them, they currently have last year and this year's Sunshine State Readers on them
5. Printing - please be aware of printer costs when printing, remember our school guidelines for printing in color
6. World Changers - This was the previous group that headed up Relay for Life. There has been a shift to be "world changers" for our kids/families here at PGE (no longer will the funds be raised to go to Relay). The group is still working on some of the details, hoping to hammer them out after the Thanksgiving break. This group is open to any staff who wants to join.
7. Title I Compacts - guidance will give Barb a class list to check off students, please try to get new students as well, extras will be kept near the sign in sheet in the front office - this is an important componant that is required of all Title I schools, it is an audited item
8. Santa letters - Santa letters - PreK, K, 1 and 2 (see Joyce's email), Santa is scheduled for his visit to PGE on Dec. 13
9. Believe Letters - goes to Macy's, open to all grades, templates will be placed in team leaders mailboxes - $2 per letter is donated to Make a Wish foundation
10. Christmas luncheon, December 20 - Heidi's will be catering it, eat in your classrooms that day please to allow set up of cafeteria
11. A+ money - just got word that something will be coming - will know more in the coming month, will need to present to SAEC at our January/February meeting
Reminders:
Classroom money - please share budget papers w/ your gradelevel - they will be placed in your mailboxes by the end of the day
Classroom money - needs to be spent by end of November
Science money - needs to be spent by end of December ($15 for K-5 homerooms)
Adopt-a-Class money - needs to be spent by end of January
Pictures for the yearbook - please have at least 4 pictures in each homeroom's folder before we break for the Christmas holidays
Conferences - should be held once a quarter for "at-risk" students (includes PMP, ESE, and in some cases ESOL) - a conference form template has been saved on the pgeshare ---> forms folder (you can use your own template or this one) - remember to save a copy to your folder on the share file
